Since graduating from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting in 1987, Keith Lair, CPA, has been serving his clients well. In his early years with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Dallas, Texas, he learned that the accounting professional has an obligation and a duty not only to respond quickly to the needs of clients, but also to provide them with a final product that is both professional and technically accurate. He learned that clients expect, and rightly so, a professional to be available, accessible, and dependable. He learned something early on that has become the cornerstone of his over 30 year career – to serve his clients well.

After his time spent in the world of Big Eight public accounting (as it was known at the time), in the 1990s Keith began focusing his work in the charitable tax area. Since that time, he has provided hundreds of financial and legal advisors throughout the country with invaluable tax advice related to charitable tax cases and is highly sought after in providing tax counsel in the charitable giving arena. Over his career Keith has also prepared or supervised the preparation of thousands of charitable trust returns.

In 2005 Keith launched Lair Administration Services to continue serving his clients well. He desired to create a third-party administration firm in whom trustees and foundation board members could put their utmost in trust and confidence…a firm that does not cut corners, believes in the importance of client communication, and provides a professional work product in an accurate and timely fashion.
